This summer, Dr. Dustin Brown, PsyD, joined Family & Children’s Services (FCS) as the new Vice President of Medical Integration.
Dr. Brown, who holds a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology with Academic Distinction, brings a wealth of experience in integrated healthcare services. Previously, he served as COO at Brightli Medical Group, part of the Burrell Behavioral Health Center, where he successfully integrated behavioral and medical care and managed critical programs. He also played a key role in establishing Missouri’s first 24/7 Behavioral Health Crisis Center and has provided consultation on similar initiatives at both state and national levels. As the regional training director for the National Psychology Training Consortium, Dr. Brown focused on training for rural and underserved populations.
In his new role at FCS, Dr. Brown will oversee medical operations, pharmacy services and external partnerships, with a particular focus on primary care behavioral health partnerships with Federally Qualified Health Centers. He will lead efforts to enhance collaborative care and improve patient outcomes, while also managing the recruitment and retention of Medical Services staff.
