In August, just in time for back to school, the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors (GTAR) Foundation threw a party for 452 Family & Children’s Service’s kids. At the party, each child received a backpack filled with back-to-school supplies and clothing essentials. The Backpack for Kids event, not in its 11th year, believes that all children should star the year with confidence.
Months later, the organization is still receiving thank you letters expressing gratitude for GTAR’s generosity, which goes to show that confidence can come in a backpack.
