Lorri Perez, MSW, LCSW is currently a Senior Program Director with Family and Children’s Services over the Child and Family Strengthening Center and Family Life Education programs. She has been with the agency for almost 20 years. Lorri graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work from Northeastern State University. Lorri graduated with her Masters in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Lorri is nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy. Lorri has worked as a therapist in school and clinic settings working with children, families, and adults. Lorri has also worked with Tulsa area companies for employee assistance programs and with companies experiencing crises in the workplace.
Leah Meyer, LPC is currently a Therapist II with Family and Children’s Services (F&CS). She works with F&CS’s Maternal Mental Health and Child and Family Strengthening Center (CFSC) clients. She received her Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Science and a Masters’s in Counseling from Oklahoma State University. Leah is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for those impacted by trauma by resolving a broad array of emotional and behavioral difficulties associated with single, multiple and complex trauma experiences. She has been with Family & Children’s Services since 2015 and worked as a case manager with F&CS’s Transitional Care program and a child and adult therapist with F&CS’s School-Based and CFSC programs. Leah also worked with F&CS’s Women in Recovery program as a liaison with Laureate Institute for Brain Research (LIBR), a clinical neuroscience research institute that leverages leading talent and technology to discover the causes of and cures for disorders of mood, anxiety, eating and memory.
