Just in time for tax season, Get Your Refund Tulsa is open for appointments. Get Your Refund Tulsa is a program made possible by the City of Tulsa’s Office of Financial Empowerment and Community Wealth, in partnership with Goodwill Industries of Tulsa and Tulsa Responds. This partnership offers free tax preparation services through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) to households making less than $60K per year.
Up to 20% of Tulsa’s eligible households don’t file their taxes and are possibly missing out on thousands of dollars in refunds. Between February 1 and April 15, twelve VITA locations across Tulsa, Bixby and Broken Arrow will be open to serve taxpayers. For specific location information, operating hours, and to schedule an appointment, visit www.GetYourRefundTulsa.org. You may also call Goodwill VITA at (918) 581-1277 or Tulsa Responds VITA at (918) 900-0918.
