FCS, in unison with organizations across the nation, is proud to honor our nurses during the annual observance of National Nurses Week.
Nurses are the backbone of our health care system, showing unwavering dedication to their patients, communities, and the profession. This year’s theme for Nurses Week, “Nurses Make the Difference,” was chosen to inspire not only nurses but also other health care professionals, employers, community leaders, and the public to acknowledge and celebrate the significant contributions and positive impact of America’s nurses.
The week-long celebration from May 6-12 offers an enhanced opportunity to advocate for the nursing profession, promote the value of nursing, conduct media outreach, and host events. It is a time to honor, celebrate, and support our nurses who make a difference every day.
Nurses, being the largest group of health care professionals in the United States, provide care across all areas of the health care system and in various care settings. We are privileged to introduce a few of our own nurses who have graciously shared their personal journeys into the field and the invaluable lessons they learn each day. We extend our deepest gratitude to all nurses for their tireless service and commitment. Your work truly makes a difference.
