The 2023 Brainiac Ball was an incredibly magical night that POPPED more than ever imagined! For the 15th year, Cyclonic Valve Company, Inc., served as the Presenting Sponsor.
More than $880,000 was raised to help Family & Children’s Services provide continual maintenance of a safe place for Women in Recovery participants to call home.
Thanks to a generous gift from Maureen and the late Everett Ashley, WIR is the new owner of a beautiful, centrally located apartment complex. The location is a safer environment for 35 WIR women to access bus stops, grocery stores and employment opportunities.
The theme of this year’s Brainiac Ball was “POP.” The evening featured a cocktail hour full of bubbly entertainment from Inspyral Circus, a “Stock the Bar” pull, a Golden Ticket drawing, and Moody’s raffle. Over six hundred guests enjoyed the annual tradition of table trivia, which posed challenging questions about pop culture. The evening evolved into a robust dance party.
Special thanks to Event Chairs Susan and Mayor G.T. Bynum, Honorary Chairs Sarah and John Graves, the Brainiac Ball committee, the F&CS board and the F&CS team. Congratulations to the 2023 Brainiac Ball Trivia Champions – Drs. Joe and Emily Padalino’s team, Cobra Kai! And more congrats to Moody’s raffle winner, Stacy Gill, and Golden Ticket winner, Stephania Grober.
