Why did you first get involved with F&CS?
I became involved because I care about people and the Tulsa community. I love serving and giving of my time and making a difference. I feel like F&CS makes the biggest impact in Tulsa and I’m honored to be a part of an organization that helps so many families, adults and children.
What about F&CS’s mission and work inspires you?
Our mission inspires me because we, as an agency, help with the true foundation of a family which is behavioral health. Every person I’ve met who works for F&CS is passionate about their job. Their dedication and compassion then transfers to the people we help and I love knowing that people’s lives have changed for the best.

Why did you first get involved with F&CS?
Initially, I was exposed to F&CS during a temporary assignment in the Finance department. Once I realized the breadth of services F&CS provided and the number of people in our community that are impacted, I wanted to become more involved.
What about F&CS’s mission and work inspires you?
The leadership team I work with is incredibly passionate about their ability to make a difference in the community. They are continuously evaluating their client’s needs and the programs they offer to make sure they are improving lives. One program I am particularly passionate about is Women In Recovery. This program offers women an opportunity to rehabilitate and contribute to society instead of going to jail. The program is a win for the participant and a win for the community.
