Adam and Jessica are about to be first-time parents. Both sides of their families have given them advice on how to raise their baby. The couple was finding it hard to agree on how to parent and began to feel uneasy about what they would do once the baby arrived.
A friend mentioned Family and Children’s Services to Adam and Jessica. The couple was skeptical at first but soon found a class that was perfect for them.
‘First Five Years’ is a class for first-time parents or any parents with a newborn to 5 years old who are looking for guidance. Parents learn about temperament, mindfulness, brain development, self-calming and special needs. Since completing the course.

Becoming a parent is a life-changing event, and life as a parent keeps changing too. This four-week program covers the first five years of parenting, from birth up to age 5. These sessions are dedicated to school readiness and parent engagement. The course also includes topics about temperament, mindfulness, brain development, self-calming and special needs
