As Family & Children’s Services continue to navigate these unprecedented times of COVID-19 pandemic, ABCO Party Rental graciously delivered 55 much needed food bags Thursday on the agency’s behalf to Osage and LiveWell program clients. About 81 percent of FCS clients earn less than $20,000 a year and one in four children live in poverty. With many jobs lost and resources limited due to COVID-19, this service is essential and beneficial to the recipients. According to the World Health Organization, good nutrition is crucial for health, particularly in times when the immune system might need to fight back. Limited access to fresh foods may compromise opportunities to continue eating a healthy and varied diet.
